Technical services departments rely on vendors to facilitate acquisitions, reveal our collections, and bring content to our communities. Telling our story - our wishes, needs and expectations - and listening to the vendor story in turn is a fundamental aspect of library management. Join librarians and vendors as we explore the best methods of building rapport, finding support and communicating with each other. The discussion will use two technical services projects as examples: UO's EDI invoicing project and Hillsboro Public Library's shelf-ready project.
