Cataloging of DVDs and Blu-ray discs using RDA involves numerous changes and challenges. OLAC (Online Audiovisual Catalogers) has developed best practice recommendations to help ensure consistent practices and quality access to moving image materials. This session will highlight best practices including: coding dates in the 046 field; roles to record in the statement of responsibility; production and publication statements; and using the new 34X fields.
