PBS's POV documentary series has a 25-year track record of using film as a tool for education and change. During this session, librarians will learn step-by-step how to coordinate and facilitate screenings of powerful social issue documentaries at their libraries, free-of-charge. The session will focus on how to: select films for your community, provide related resources and lead post-screening discussions and action. We will also feature content from our upcoming season, including trailers, film clips and StoryCorpsanimations.
