Learn about possible programs that get teens and tweens up and active in preparation for 2016's sports-themed summer reading program. Life-sized board games, field trips, nerf nights and more!

With teen programs thriving, libraries are faced with a new challenge - how to keep the connection going as teens graduate into new adulthood. Presenters will highlight a number of innovative and successful programs that got college-age to 30-somethings excited about spending a night out at the library. Reviews of the best of the emerging New Adult Fiction genre will also be included.

Join us at Riverbend Brewing Sports Pub (within walking distance from the convention center) for free snacks and the announcement of OYAN’s OYEA (OYAN You’re Excellent Award) recipient. Stick around a bit to talk books, libraries and anything else!

Discover free information for teens exploring career opportunities. Be amazed by quality online games and apps. We will uncover some hidden gems that can help you plan for next year's summer reading topic and beyond!

OYAN representatives will fill readers' advisory arsenals with a dazzling array of young adult fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novel selections highlighted in a series of snappy book talks. Attendees will also get their hands on copies of the hot-off-the-press 2016 Book Rave list and the 2015 OYAN Graphic Rave. To wrap up, Ravers will reveal a super-secret list of "Ravers Choice" recommendations.
